Summer holiday activities

School children across Easington can take part in exciting pool-based activities during the summer holidays. Fun sessions are being offered as part of Easington District Council's free swimming scheme and include mini-polo, snorkelling, Aquafit and Junior Lifesaving, which teaches children basic lifesaving techniques. To make sure as many children as possible can attend the sessions, the programme will be run alternate weeks at local school pools. Local teachers and members of the local swimming, triathlon and scuba clubs will help deliver the various sessions.

Swimfit

July will see the introduction of a swimfit unit at Peterlee Leisure Centre the first at a Leisure Connection's site, specific swimfit sessions will be on the pool timetable.
