At the onset of Everyday Swim in 2006, the Sport Industry Research Centre (SIRC) at Sheffield Hallam University was commissioned by the ASA and Sport England to conduct the monitoring and evaluation of the Everyday Swim pilot.

Since this time SIRC and the Everyday Swim teams from across the pilot areas have been able to work closely together to gather information at a range of different levels to provide the most robust data possible on the Everyday Swim projects.

This high level evaluation has shown the ambitious Everyday Swim project - that set out to get more people swimming over the past three years - has succeeded with a gain of over 10,000 adult swimmers across nine pilot schemes.

As our commitment to sharing the lessons learnt from Everyday Swim across the industry please find within these pages the Final Report, location specific reports, and other supporting reports published by SIRC.
