Islington
Welcome to the Everyday Swim Project in Islington, a Borough of London. Here Everyday Swim partners including Islington Council and Aquaterra Leisure are working to improve the swimming provision in the borough by applying the best practice shown by the gym industry. We are working hard to transform the way the leisure provider and the customer (current and potential) both view the pool. If you have any questions or comments get in touch, we look forward to hearing from you!!
Sir Clive Woodward, England’s World Cup-winning former Rugby Union coach is to speak at the ASA’s first ever Council Conference.
The swimming industry is being given a unique opportunity to learn how to get more people into the pool more often.
New figures released today show that young people and senior citizens have taken the plunge more than 4.4 million times thanks to the Government’s £140m free swimming initiative – a key part of plans to ensure a lasting legacy from the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games by getting more people physically active.
The ASA has today revealed how it will help shape the government’s Free Swimming initiative so swimming becomes a key activity in getting the country off their sofas and more active.
